National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA)
For over 45+ years, NDGAA has worked with groomers throughout the world promoting and encouraging professionalism and education in order to upgrade the image of the pet grooming profession. Their goal is to unite groomers through membership, to promote communication with colleagues, to set recognized grooming standards and to offer those seeking a higher level of professional recognition the opportunity to have their grooming skills certified.
Friends of Cookeville/Putnam County Animals
Founded in 2004, Friends of Cookeville/Putnam County Animals is a 501c3 non-profit entity whose objective is to raise public awareness in tending to lost and homeless animals within the community, as well as educate citizens on the importance of spay/neuter programs.
Shelly's Angels Saving Strays
Shelly's Angels Saving Strays is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization that is committed to assisting dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. They are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason, and work to place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.
